Orchidwood Mushrooms is the UK’s leading mushroom processor. Our customers include some of the world’s leading food brands such as Heinz, Premier, Northern Foods, Apetito, Baxters and Greencore

The company, which is privately owned, was established in 1993 and moved to a new purpose-built, state-of-the-art processing factory in Beckley, East Sussex three years later.

Mushrooms are sourced almost entirely from Belgium, France and Holland, where we partner only with regularly audited growers. Our fresh mushrooms are processed within 24 hours of harvesting to ensure the freshest possible product for our customers.

Our products include all kinds of processed mushrooms – chilled, dried, pasteurised and frozen. Our technical team works with our customers to ensure they receive the right kind of mushroom for their product. We have a comprehensive HACCP and quality systems. Our HACCP systems are supported by QA manuals and ongoing staff training to ensure the highest possible food safety standards.

With our partners in Europe, we can supply virtually any kind of mushroom – cultivated or wild. With all of our competitors based in Europe, Orchidwood offers a unique UK-based service with our UK customers able to expect delivery from stock within 24 hours.
